absence in the early part of April,1899, and I write now to
offer to prepare and pass through the press during my absence
a new and revised edition of the Statute Laws of the Colony.

the Statute Laws. The first of these is in four quarto volumes
and was published in 1890-91. It was compiled for the Govern-
ment by Mr. A. J.Leach, under the general supervision of the Law
Revision Commission. The last Ordinance contained in it is No.
26 of 1887. The second or "concise" edition is in two octavo
volumes and was published in 1891-92.It was compiled for the
Government by Mr.A.J.Leach. The last Ordinance contained in it
is No.30 of 1890.
